A Ghost from the Past

As long as I don't write about him multiple times, I am allowed to discuss Blazer Boy in just one update.

He randomly texted me tonight. Inquiring about life, work, weekend. Said my name had come up at dinner. And that he hopes to "c" me soon.

Just his style - appear on his own time, disappear on his own time.

The Not-So-Eligible Bachelors

The 40-Year-Old Virgin--word to the wise. If you have the misfortune to be a middle-aged toy collector, do NOT reveal this to a girl when you are trying to convince her that dating you is in her best interest. And under no circumstances should you ask her to touch your light saber.
Mr. Mindfuck--the one Flirty knows she should get rid of but hasn't quite yet. Could be the subject of a blog all by himself.
The Godfather--even if you have beautiful hair, NOT appropriate to ask a girl out on a first date via text message. Not acceptable in our book.
Yes, My Shorts Are Sexy--the one who thinks that filing for divorce is the same thing as BEING divorced. Um. Not quite.
The Prowler--everyone has one in their life. The one who tries to date you by pretending your lunch/dinner/hookup is not REALLY a lunch/dinner/hookup.
Wingman--we ADORE Wingman even though we are fairly certain a rehab stint may be in his future. But every girl should have a Wingman in their life and we are lucky to have him
The Republican--what more need we say? He's a Republican. Oh wait. Bossy is also a Republican but she is cool and we love her anyway. But the boy Republican is typical--pretends to be all about your freedom but in reality tries to treat you like his 15 year old daughter.
Frat Boy--our other wingman. Adorable combo of frank, married-guy-friend advice and hopeless overgrown frat boy. We have more fun when his wife is away. Not THAT kind of fun - we have scruples after all. Known for giving sage advice, such as "Ladies, you cannot possibly set your standards too low."
Media Darling--blissfully unaware that Bossy was just NOT that into him, he ended their brief, star-crossed relationship because he wasn't sure she could handle his fame. Uh, yeah--said fame consists of one cover shot on a mid-sized city's society magazine. Flirty is underwhelmed.
Mr. I Won't Hit You--speaking of standards, Flirty had to inform this gentleman that promising never to hit her is not in fact any inducement for Flirty to date him. This is the baseline requirement, not that plus factor we are looking for.
Pilot Boy--childhood friend of Flirty's. She harbored a long term, unrequited crush - or so she thought until she actually went on a date with him. Jury is out on this one.
Blazer Boy--biggest player in town. But soooooooo hot and hard to resist. Bossy's evil angel usually wins when this one calls.
The Catch--Flirty's last conquest. He informed her the night he met her that should things work out with them, that she could be very "well-positioned." Turns out he was not referring to adventurous sex positions.
Rebound Guy--you know what your mama always said about how there had to something wrong with a guy in his late 30s who had never married? Yup. Mama is ALWAYS right.
